For any out of town guests, or anyone else desiring to stay over night in Seattle, we have several options for accommodations.
First, if you would like to try and stay in someone's home, please let Beth or Ellen know (see contact information at bottom of this post) and we will try to arrange that for you. Many of these homes are located in Olympia, however, which are about an hour from Seattle.
Second, there a few options for hotels. We have blocks of rooms at the Sorrento and at the Hilton Homewood Suites. Each hotel is approximately 1/2 mile from the wedding venue. The Silver Cloud hotel is approxiately 2 blocks from the venue and has the best rates, but we do not have a block there. You can still book a room on your own.
The Sorrento Hotel
The
Sorrento Hotel is a boutique hotel with a lot of charm. There is a lounge and restaurant downstairs. If you mention you are booking for the Saavedra-Ritchie wedding then you will receive 10% off the best available rate at the time of booking. I was told that prices will start going up in July, but especially about a month before the wedding. The best rates should be during the Spring. See

At this time we can neither confirm nor deny whether the hotel was named for former Seattle Mariner great Paul Sorrento.
The Hilton Homewood Suites
The
Hilton Homewood Suites offers spacious rooms and a more modern look. Some rooms can accommodate four people, with a queen/king bed and a pull out sofa bed. When booking, identify yourself with the Saavedra-Ritchie wedding and you will receive a rate of $179/night (plus tax) for the basic room. This is about $30 less than the normal rate. You must book your rooms at least a month ahead of time because starting August 3rd the block is null as is the discount. For more information

The
Silver Cloud Hotel tends to have the most affordable rates and offers clean, modern rooms. This hotel is the closest hotel to the venue. If you would like to book a room at the Silver Cloud or find more information visit
